The Hungarian Central Bank considers a key priority to facilitate the digitalisation of the financial system. And, to develop the general level of financial awareness and professional training.

They also established an executive directorate. Its is responsible for the digitalisation and the development of the financial system. Its tasks include creation and continuous development of instruments, which supports the digital competitiveness.

The Digitalisation and FinTech Advisory Board, set up in September 2019, also supports the Digitalisation.

The central bank’s strategy is in line with Hungary’s FinTech strategy, which was developed within the framework of the Digital Welfare Programme.
